This made me think of predetermination and the problem of evil. If we ask why God allows bad thing happen to bad people we could also ask why God allows good things happen to bad people, right?

I also think that God gave us intellects and free will so we would voluntarily know and choose Him. He won't force Himself into our lives but use EVERYTHING to lead us back to Him. At least I'm glad He did in my life.

I have A LOT to offer on all this. Maybe I'll write a follow-up post. Or maybe a podcast. They're all really good and important questions (Why does God let...).

Providence and predetermination often butt heads. Providence is true, but predetermination is not...though it can resemble the character of providence. I've had several debates with atheists over that one topic. It's a subject that needs careful treatment, and it isn't easy. Thanks for such a thoughtful and thought-provoking comment. And thank you for your support and for the time you take to read what I put up. It's very humbling.
